JAVIUER SIN CORBATA Y CON CHAQUETA BR

Zaragoza, Spain – photography, video art, digital engraving, glass artistic, drawing and sculpture.

My characteristic has always been creativity, that is to say my own definition is to be creative in all aspects, and I use that attitude in all aspects of life, searching always for new ideas which allow me to achieve my objectives

I am well versed and keep up to date in two well defined activities, the publishing world with of lately new technologies added, and art using for this last one all de media I am familiar with ,be it sculpture, engraving, drawing, photography, video art ..

Since this page aims to show my relationship with art I will specify some aspects concerning it.

I believe that it is impossible to create without creative freedom, that is why my artistic related activities are casual and philanthropic thus I never concern myself with the possible commercial worth of any of my works , getting rid of that aim allows me a bigger freedom of design. My main worry is not something someone may be interested in buying, I am only interested in whatever I want to express hoping the spectator will enjoy , think and if possible have fun, with it, hoping it does not became another boring art exhibition.

My main motivation from the very beginning has always concerned Goyesque surrealism, it is the axle around which my work revolves and the starting point in my artistic trajectory, I am referring to my work “Goya¨s shadows” a set of sculptures which on being illuminated by a ray of light on being shown reflect a shadow of Goyesque spirit to which my title above makes reference to, the final result being shade connected with sculpture.and the starting point in my artistic trajectory,

I am referring to my main motivation from the very beginning has always concerned Goyesque surrealism, it is the axle around which my work revolvesy work “Goya¨s shadows” a set of sculptures which on being illuminated by a ray of light on being shown reflect a shadow of Goyesque spirit to which my title above makes reference to, the final result being shade connected with sculpture.

Working on them allowed me to comprehend what may have been going on in Goya¨s head when he created them. It is all done with admiration but avoiding the reproduction of the original images, pretending to be more an interpretation of his creative process than of his works. The eleven sculptures that make up the collection are designed to be shown with an specific illumination The work is complemented by twelve digital engravings in series of 50,which also hope to emulate that ray of light in the spirit of Goya.

I must also point out that I took part in an exhibition organised by the SNBA in the Louvre Carrousel in Paris in 2009, I showed part of my work “Goya¨s shadows” and there is a small video within the blog.

Even if the day to day is difficult , I try not to interrupt my interest in art, by making sculptural works in my own style and giving form to new messages in low reliefs, engravings, photographs or sculptures, but following always however so subtlety the spirit of Goya. his drawings, oils, tapestries and so on remain a universal reference due to that admiration I always try to include the Goyesque reference ,be it as a caricature , mixing the depths of life and the spiritual, with the oniric and surrealistic, though my s current works are of a contemporary aspect, there is always a connection with the ideas of the master, without leaving aside my original project.

Since august 2009 I am working in a plastic visual project called “Daydreaming” which allows me when designing to move to a symbolic fantastic universe.  Further being in the information can be found within the blog in “Mural Ensoñaciones ” and “Esculturas Ensoñaciones” departments.

THE DIXCOVERER

All artists or creators at least in my case, work from their own time in the understanding that it is the basis for a particular feeling at a given moment in space and time, besides any specific individual artistic project nevertheless it is difficult to associate the concept of an exhibition to this idea of activity and timeless connection. Therefore I try to approach my current works or collections as far as possible to the present and hope that my works serve as a mosaic with a message relating to dreams, being in the present implies assuming its own contradictions and taking an acting part in them .In this stage it is my intention to undertake my creations in complete freedom and take a decisive step in the solidifying proposals and current artistic discourses as a prolongation of my own life. The works I show here are a recognition of the closer things of life shown in the abstract and the unreal. Everything is in constant change, being the distance between these and those times great since artistic concept is permanently evolving, not so ideas which constantly adapt to time, what seems like yesterday may be ancient and one finds oneself working for and against the wind.
